What is Re:Selfing?

Re:Selfing is the process of rediscovering yourself after parenting through adversity - or while still living inside it. Whether you're emerging from survival mode or just beginning to feel the toll it's taken, this is your place to settle in, reflect, and gently grow.

Created and led by Suzanne Alderson, the Re:Selfing program is a thoughtful, compassionate journey to Reconnect, Reset, Reimagine, and Rebuild after extreme caring.

Over 12 months, starting Monday 6th October, we’ll meet each month from 6-8pm UK time on Zoom in a safe, reflective space to explore who we are now, what we want and need, and how we begin the work of returning to ourselves after all we've held.

Each month, you’ll receive a Re:Selfing workbook with reflective prompts, gentle but powerful challenges, and full permission to finally put your needs back on the list. You'll also have access to a private Facebook group, connecting you with others on the Re:Selfing path - a space of support, honesty, and shared experience.

What will we explore together?

This isn’t a straight line or a tidy sequence - it’s a foundational restructuring of who we are after parenting through adversity, whether that is easing or still unfolding. Each phase is a touchstone we return to, building strength, softness, and self-trust layer by layer. All done with compassion and honesty - no toxic positivity or glossing over the truth of our experiences

Gathering strength and restoring your spark, in ways that match your real capacity.

Learning to stand with yourself, trust yourself, and to say yes, no and not yet with kindness and conviction.

FAQs

  • Is this for me?

    If you're looking for support, guidance and connection, you're ready to take gentle steps back toward yourself, and you want dedicated time to reflect on what you need and want, then yes, Re:Selfing is for you. Of course, everyone has a responsibility for their own mental health, so if you're currently in crisis or deeply struggling, please know this isn’t therapy - and it may not be the right space for you just yet. But if you're open to exploration, and willing to go on a quest to meet the version of you that exists now - after everything - then Re:Selfing is exactly the place to begin.

  • How long does the program run?

    Re:Selfing runs for 12 months - from October 2025 to September 2026. Each month, there is a 2 hour Zoom from 6-8pm UK time, plus access to the recording, a workbook and the Facebook community.

  • What happens in the Zoom sessions?

    Each Zoom covers a part of the Re:Selfing program - offering food for thought, time to reflect and connect with others in breakout rooms (if you want to join, not obligatory) and time for perspective and resolve. Suzanne aims for all sessions to feel warm, welcoming and what you need - whatever is going on for you. There is no pressure - you lead the pace. And they are all recorded so you can watch back at your convenience.

  • How much does it cost?

    Re:Selfing costs £240 - £20 a month - for the 12 months of Zooms, workbooks and community if you sign up before Monday 14th September. You can also pay for the complete program monthly at £22 per month for 12 months. From 15th September, the price will increase to £300 - £25 per month - if you pay in full, or £27 per month if you pay monthly.

  • Do I need to bring anything?

    Just yourself and an open mind! Maybe some snacks, a drink, a blanket, a notebook - but you'll be supported and held each month by Suzanne and your fellow parents.

  • Is this like PNP Coaching from last year?

    It is similar - it's got the same feel and a similar format, but new workbooks, and new content.
